Chicken Shawarma



Shawarma is one of the Mediterranean cuisine recipes that been passing on from one generation to the other. Many cultures have implemented it into their cuisine with their own touch and flavor, and why not!? Its easy, tasty, versatile, and healthy. It can be prepared with many ingredients that fit any taste, but the one most famous of them all is the chicken shawarma; which we are going to prepare today.


let's start with Ingredients:

1. lemon juice
2. yogurt
3. tahini
4. paprika
5. black pepper  
6. salt
7. garlic powder
8. citric acid powder
9. ginger powder
10. potatoes
11. definitely chicken
12. lettuce
13. tomatoes
14. pickle
15. pita bread
16. tzatziki sauce or dip (can be prepared by: yogurt + cucumber + lemon + garlic + parsley + salt)

 
Preparation:

mix the (lemon juice, yogurt, tahini, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, citric acid powder, ginger powder) into a paste form then add it to the chicken. keep it in the fridge for at least 4 hrs. meanwhile, prepare the potatoes into fingers either fry or bake them. bake the chicken on 400- 450 until it's done usually within 45 min- 1hr depending on your oven. The rest is easy, cut the chicken wrap everything with tzatziki sauce and enjoy the taste.
