Stews are one of my favorite dishes of all time, it's the same as the noodles so versatile and can be altered to fit any taste you prefer whether you are a meat-lover or vegetarian or both. Today's version will be prepared with chicken and chickpeas, which is very simple and can be done within an hour. It has two sub-versions the red and the yellow one, we will be preparing the red one, so let's get into it.
Ingredients:
1.chicken (breast or thighs)
2.chickpeas
3.rice (optional)
4.tomato sauce
5.lemon juice
6.onions
7.paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, turmeric, and curry
Preparations:
First, we soak the chickpeas overnight in a hot water so it can be cooked easily the next day. Start by simmering the chopped onions with the chopped chicken breast with all the spices for 5 min, then add the tomato sauce and water. once it starts boiling add the chickpeas and leave it for 30-45 min on low heat. That's it enjoy it.
