A major source of plant-based protein from the family Fabaceae. it's widely used for nutritional
value as well as a variety of dishes that can be prepared from; whether baked,
fried, and boiled. one of the most famous bean's dishes is the bean beef stew,
that we are going to prepare today. it can be served by itself, with rice, or
with bread.
Ingredients:
1. beans (northern, lima)
2. beef cubes
3. tomato and tomato sauce
4. onions
5. rice
6. lemon juice
7. beef broth
8. spices (black pepper, salt, paprika, coriander,
curry, citric acid)
Preparation:
Leave the beans in a water bowl overnight. bring
water to boil then lower the heat after you add the beef with some salt,
leave it for an hr to cook slowly. do
the same with the bean in a separate pan, but
remove it once start getting a little bit soft, and set it aside. stir a diced
tomato with oil and sauce on high heat for 10 min, then add the spices while
continue to stir. drain the beef and the bean and add them to the sauce. add
beef broth, stir everything together. keep it on high until boiling level for 5
min, then reduce the heat to low and keep it for another 30 min and it will be
ready to serve.
